An iterative work plan is used, which means that regular smaller deliveries are made. There is an ongoing evaluation and can be changed to meet new requirements and demands from the customer.
A release plan is normally 3-6 months with several iterations, approximately 4 week long. Every iteration end in a delivery taken into production or an updated evaluation environment for you as a customer. The development during the iteration is presented to the project’s parties at an iteration review at the end of every iteration. This is a great opportunity for feedback and different prioritizing next iteration.
