On September 17, it was time for E-commerce Forum in Borås, Sweden, arranged by PostNord. Before the day was even ended it was clear that Borås will also host the recurring event next year. This year, the theme was “What can we learn from Great Britain?”. We were offered several interesting ideas, and the insight was that there is a lot to learn.

Mastercard’s digital wallet MasterPass will be launched in Sweden during Q1 2015, you can already submit your interest if you want to take part of the pilot testing. Over 40,000 web stores around the world already use the payment option that can give the mobile commerce the extra push that is needed having the number of tablets and smartphones that are available around Sweden.

During a party this weekend, a bottle of Coca-Cola with a green label appeared on the table. The discussion started immediately, what did the green imply, was it ecological in some way, healthier, or fair trade. All suggestions implied that the content in some form was better than the red original.

What you can do about the abandoned carts is more difficult. But there is a lot of potential to getting them all the way through the checkout.
