As usual, PostNord Retail Day offered many insights and future prospects, even if the program was shorter than usual. The annual report of E-barometern was presented together with Swedish consumers' online favourites. We gained insight into both KappAhl's and Åhléns' initiatives.

Many now see that a turnaround could be underway in the second half of 2024 with more room for both individuals and businesses to increase consumption and investment. Focus areas in the report E-barometern Q1 are international trade, sustainability and circular trade.

Although e-commerce showed a negative growth of 2% for the full year 2023 according to the report E-barometern, e-commerce is now predicted to have come out of its worst crisis and is on the way to increased growth and increased parcel volumes going forward. The second half of 2023 was better than the beginning. Price-focused consumers and e-retailers who switch to profitability characterize e-commerce during the year.

The autumn's major industry event PostNord Retail Day was held digitally in October with the insight that an important key to a successful business is leadership – being able to make courageous decisions, create a strong culture and lead towards common goals. During Retail Day, the report E-barometern for Q2 was also presented with analyzes and insights.
