Every year, the state, the regions, and the municipalities buy goods and services for hundreds of billions through public procurement. Unlike private purchasing, there are regulations that govern how the public sector may make purchases. One of the requirements that has been added in recent years is that e-commerce in some form must exist.

Svensk Digital Handel invited to a webinar to talk about one of the trends we are looking at right now - live video shopping. Tom Xiong, who is one of the founders of The Digital Dragon, a podcast that addresses digital trends in the East that will affect the West, went through how the trend is growing in China and has made its way to Sweden.

What has become a bit of a tradition, to go to Borås in the end of September for a packed e-commerce conference - PostNord Retail Day, became, like everything else lately, a little different. Instead, the conference was run completely digitally for one afternoon.
